OT : DIY Bias probe, RG ?

I was wondering about the 200mV digital panel meter on RG pic, can i use a digital multimeter instead ?

Yup! Just make sure that you read your multimeter's manual to see if it can handle that kind of voltage, and that it can handle up to 200mv. If it can, you should be fine!

The 200mv Digital Panel Meter was chosen because that's a relative standard in DPMs. Any meter you want to use is OK, and a DVM works fine. You lose some of the ease-of-use without an imbedded meter.

At last count, three commercial outfits are using that design in stuff they offer, so I guess it's usable.
