Instead of adding the trimmers im using pots. I read in a thread  a while back about what to do with the unused lug on the pot by connecting it to the wiper- but what im trying to figure out is this- heres the layout im using http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/wah_mod_lo_no_switches.gif

The 50k pot im using for r7b- I have the lug 1 on the pot going to the connection on the pot that leads to the right side of the inductor, the middle place on the board going to lug 3 on the pot and nothing on the place on the board that connects to nothing. Is this correct. I assumed that lug1 on the pot goes to ground but instead it looks like it goes to the inductor.
Basically im trying to understand how to convert a trim pot to a regular pot.

As far as I knew, trimpots and normal pots are the same thing (look on any most boss pedals). They are completely interchangable, and all you need to do is solder three wires to it, and use those like the normal pot lugs. Try it out with a DMM.
