Drifting Bender

My Ge Tonebender MkII [2 knob TB] gets noisy after a few minutes of high gain playing...
 I seem to remember a diode bias trick used to keep Ge's from running away with their bias, but don't remember where...I looked around..guess I don't remember where I might have seen  it.

Tha'ts the one Leonhendrix !!! THanks.
 It might be a 'minute' before i can get hold of more GE Diodes, and get them in there...I'll post if any good results are found.
