input/outputs buffers on a wah

I noticed Tonepad has a wah circuit with the option of input and output buffers.  I'm thinking of replacing my stock crybaby board with a DIY board and changing out the Dunlop jacks as well.  Would and input and output buffer allow more flexibility in the placement of the wah with a Rangemaster and fuzz (Ge) in my chain?
