I apologize in advance, this is not really a stompbox question but does pertain to guitar electronics.  I am stuck, and I have tried to find a solution elsewhere by searching as dilligently as I could.

I was looking at the schematic for a Gibson Ripper bass at this site:

Along with a photograph:

Now, my question is, what is the value of the midrange choke with part number 70-442? I did come across one source that it may be 250 mH or so, but this is not reliable.  I cited the photo because I think that the huge spool-thing in the middle of the photo is the choke, and I was hoping that it might spur someone's memory or at least a guess.

TIA

P.S. Here's a link to a schematic on the above site for active electronics in a Gibson RD Artist bass.  I think that the electronics may have been designed by Bob Moog, but I'm not sure:

Just a willd guess, but the old Gibson varitones were allegedly using 1.5H chokes, and that would give you a mid cut around 410Hz, which sounds very useful, at least to me. 250mH should put the notch up around 1Khz, and 500mH should set it right around 700Hz, either of which might prove worthwhile under certain circumstances.  :) Sorry, that's all I got.

Those are really cool basses. Have you tried contacting Gibson directly? I had a guitar question some time ago and they were very helpful.

If that's all you got, that's far more than what I have.  Thanks!

AL:
I have not yet tried to contact Gibson.  I'll get an address and do that, though.

Also, I did find confirmation that the RD Artist electronics were designed by Moog Music, who at that time was part of Norlin Music as was Gibson.
A little history lesson there....
