neovibeÚnivibe transformer ???

Hi,
I´m building a univibe clone ( like the general guitar gadgets project )
but I don´t know about the specifications of the transformer I shoul use ?
It is post at the project that the tranformer should be 14-16 VAC 0r 20-24 VDC, but when I went to buy in a store they want to know about the amperage (amperes) of the tranformer.
Could you help me and tell the specification(volts/ampere) of the transformer i should be using ?

Mouser TM022 is the model, sorry I dont remember the specs !!
