Started constructing one and now i need to build the psu. I"m looking at for a  transformer to put out somewhere above +/- 30v since I've read that +/- 35v is about optimum voltage. The Hammond 36v CT at about 1A is ~$20...

How about this one?

part number 241-3-36

36V CT at 2.4A for $8.75

Anyone ever heard of Signal Transformers? This seems like a good alternative to an expensive Hammond....

Thanks,
Michael
