Digitech x series replacement rotary switch?

Does anyone know a suitable replacement rotary switch for a digidelay?
While I'm at it there is a full sized resistor soldered onto the backside of the main board. Is this somebodies idea of a mod or is it there stock?

U can call/write/email Digitech in Sandy(?) Utah.
U can purchase the *exact* part from them.
AND, install it yourself---this *is* DIY...

as 4 the R on the bot of the pcb....probably a factory mod.
even the pros make production mistakes..

maybe if we had a photo, someone would recognise it.. is there a manufacturer's symbol on it anywhere? How 'broken' is it?? What happened?
