can u run a tlo84/74 at 15v???

i was wondering about this as i want to build an ms20 type filter.
a few sites (with the filter) ask for 15v, but the eg circuit i plan to use runs off 12v ,but i've only got a 15v psu....
i read somewhere that the tl084 cant handle this voltage,and wondered if it'd be better to run the whole thing from 12v.....

According to the RS data sheets, they will accept +- 18v max. I have run TL072's @ 16,5v in some of my projects for years with no problems.
