The jewel and mounting are going to be around $6 which is about the price of a hammond box...+ or -.   If you just make a hole and used only the jewel it would be about $3 or $4... You'd have to glue or epoxy it from the bottom, same with the LED...

See how much antique electronics ( tubesandmore.com) has the jewels for. I seem to remember them being on sale and pretty cheap...
