More gain from deluxe memory man?

I want the repeats on my DMM to have higher gain and distort in the same pleasing way as when i crank the feedback up all the way, only at lower feedback levels. The effect that I am trying to achieve here is for my own creative purposes, but is similar to the sound of a Roland Space Echo gain overloading as in Subterranean Homesick Alien, by Radiohead. That is, the feedback isn't up high but the gain still overloads and clips. This circuit is too complex for me. Any ideas?
