does anyone know what kind of AC voltage adapter...RP6

....is there anything special inside the 9 volts AC adapter for the Digitech RP6?...I got one today without the adapter;I'm debating whether I should try just connecting another 9volt AC supply to it, or wait to find one on Ebay-and since I've never played through one of these, are they any good as far as usable effects go?......thanks!.......dr

Disclaimer: I havn't ever clapped eyes on one of these, but...
A LOT of gear comes into Australia witout 9v AC supplies, because you can typically buy stuff from USA & even shipped it is half price or less.. but then when you approach the local agent for a 230v 9v AC wart they (unsuprisingly) want $80 for one.

I've never had trouble putting another 9v AC supply on anything. Maybe someone who has one of the legitimate supplies, can say what the current rating is, if you wnt to be exact.
Jameco www.jameco.com is a great place for warts. You might have to put a new plug on, but if you do, at least with AC you can't get it the wrong way around!

...Thanks, Paul-I just heard back from someone that the old Nintendo game adaptor was 9volts AC and was very close to the 1300 ma. rating.....I believe I'll go check my basement!!!!
