carbon vs. metal film resistors?

Thanks for the link! I must have missed that one when it went by the first time. So far, I have not been able to hear any difference between resistor or capacitor types to my ear. It must come with several years of fooling with stuff to say "Oh yeah that's definitely mylar", or "that's definitely carbon comp". I go by value only on this stuff myself, but my ears don't know any better either. :roll:
