Simple question. Can I replace the stock pot im my gcb-95 with one of these 200k pro pots? Will I have to modify ? If I do, what would that entail? Are there benefits? Drawbacks? Not such a simple question I guess.

No problems. There was a tread on here about Teese's wah pots supposedly being ICAR tapered but having a 200k reading on them. In it he claimed that he got a hold of a vintage ICAR pot that had a 200k value. He said he really liked the sound of it over the normal 100k pots and had his new ones made to this value. Believe it or not...

The Pro Pot is a knock-off of Teese's new Roc-PotII 200k pot. I got one recently and put it in my clyde clone and it sounds great and they are made really well to boot, better than the Fulltone. At first I had problems with Teese saying his pots are 100% like the original, but who knows. Maybe he really did get a hold of 200k ICAR pots?
