I'm hoping to hear how this project compares to the sound of the zvex LoFi.  I LOVE the LoFi but can't afford it.  I realize this build doesn't have the vibrato but I'll live without it for now.  I want to know if like the lofi the digital processing stays out of the signal path.  And then, since it's not true bypass, does it suck tone when bypassed?  If so I'll get parts for a buffer too.  Seems like an easy build otherwise...I'd love to hear some success stories.

Good post. Read a lot about this thing and want to build it when I have some time from playing and gigging..... Also need a new fuzz box for bass, but that will be another story.

Have you sourced a chip? I'm not sure how easy they are to get?
