Guys...A few weeks ago I built JD Sleep's version via his website, the BSIAB 2....I' built the pedal exactly like his layout and used the exact values and high quality MF resistors and CDE caps, along with the FETs called for on the layout...

I've shielded the input and output jacks and have messed with lead dress, and yet I still can't get rid of this high pitched microphonic feedback I get from mine?

I've read quite a few of the posts on this topic under the search engine, but maybe I've missed a most recent fix or missed the actual fix for this?

Thanks all....Some of you may know me as "Stratdeluxer97" over on the Seymour Duncan forums? I've been on that site and have offered alot of info(and have received alot)for about 3 years or so...Great website here also all!

Hi, John.  Welcome to the forum.

Is the feedback happening with the gain all the way up or does it not matter where's it set at?

I found this thread that might help.  It involves adjusting a trim pot.

Thanks for posting....I keep the gain at or around noon normally and not set really high...The pedal has lots of output and I have the tone and volume set at around 9 to 10 o'clock positions..

Welcome!

I have the same problem with mine- only i moved on to another project only to say im going to get back to it, but i dont..Minus the high pitch- its an awsome effect!!

Hi Jim....I find I'm liking the way my "Guv'nor" pedal that I built cuts better with my classic rock format. The BSIAB 2 has great tone, but it's also darker and seems to lay back too much in the overall mix...The squeeling also keeps me from being able to turn the tone up higher to where I can cut better and be brighter in the mids and the highs...
