GGG Rodent Pot Wirings Opposite On The Filter And Dist Pots?

The layout on JD's site for the rodent/rat build ends up having the Distortion pot adding gain as you roll the pot CCW,but the Filter and Volume controls work like on most pedals when you go CW...Is this a typo error on the GGG layout?

Should be like this right...

Filter....CCW adds highs
Distortion....CW adds more distortion
Volume...CW adds volume

I gots to flip flop some pot wires I guess!  :roll:  

I did some of Jack Ormands mods to mine(Bought his info book) and it sounds great...

For some people, flipping the leads around and having the control work opposite to what you'd normally encounter provides a taper and selectivity that some ears may prefer.  FWIW, the Presence control on the old Fender Bassman amps works "opposite" as well, increasing highs and distortion as you turn it CCW.

I did some of Jack Ormands mods to mine(Bought his info book) and it sounds great...I know he likes a .01 in place of the .003,but I went with a .0082 here and did the the other mods he shows under his Fat Rat Mods,but I stayed with the LM308 and the 33pf compensating cap..I can't remember all the mods,but 1 was lowering the 1m input resistor to 100k,Changing the 560ohm to 100 ohm,lowering the 1k5 tone control eq set resistor to 1k etc....The pedal grinds,but it's alot smoother and really quiet..

quoting most of the "mods" in your post .... !    :roll:   DUH !!

Erm, I wasn't having a personal "dig" at you, and the "useful information" was to
NOT post AMZ's mod info, which I'm sure Jack would rather sell ( quite cheaply IMHO ) than have posted for free, as it's not "yours" because you
paid 10 bucks, its just for you to read/use for that fee.
If he wanted everyone to have it and post it, he wouldn't be charging a small fee for it  eh ?
