hey guys...

I've done this with 3 of my most prized boss pedals, only to realise that the damn things pop when bypassed...

I've tried the usual of using a pulldown resistor on each end but to no avail... has anyone had any similar encounters when doing this?

Thanks

John

How much popping are we talking about?

If the switch is good and connected right, it should not pop, at least not much. No matter if its a Boss pedal.

Are you sure you connected the pulldown resistors right? In that case, maybe changing the input and output caps for low-leakage ones may help (if they are bad quality electros they would cause some popping).

Otherwise, i'm clueless!

yeah, it sound like a very promininet electircal popping sound, not your average stompswitch click that I would have expected...

I'll try changing the caps tonight to see...
