Hi,

I want to build a tube overdrive and the Chandler Tube seems to sound really good.
I know that there are differents versions of this tube  overdive, which ones I have to choose?

Chandler Tube from Generel guitar gagets : http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/tube_driver_lo.gif

or

chandler tube from  diy.musikding.de : http://diy.musikding.de/berichte/eff/chandler/chandler1.html

Is it the same versions??

thanks

As far as I can tell, they appear to be the same version - the 4-knob version of the Tube Driver. Some people have had noise problems with the GGG layout, I'm not sure if it has been redesigned yet.

You should also consider the Shaka Tube:

You can use any op amp that has the same pinout as the TL072.  Check the datasheets first to be sure and socket the op amp so you can try several different flavors.

As noted, any equivalent opamp will work. I have a JRC4558 in one my Shaka Tubes, in fact.
