Hi was hoping someone could point me to an SD1 layout. I have the schem without the buffer and was wondering if anyone knows where to find the layout. I know Torchy had a vero layout up, but I couldn't get to it before it was taken down. My email is big_mambajamba@msn.com if anyone can pass it on. Thank you.  ;D

Here's my OD-1 just add a tone control ( if you need one ) and you'l have a great
classic pedal.
This was taken direct from a vintage OD-1 & schem

Thank you very much Marty. Quick question regarding the Vero Layout. The little 'red squares' with the dots in the middle are where the trace's are cut? Correct. I would like a tone control so where would you recommend putting one in?

Thank you,

Chris

Yes that's correct, those are "cuts" in the copper traces.
For a nice simple tone control that wont "suck" any volume, search for
the "stupidly wonderful tone control" ( SWTC )
That connects direct to the volume pot at the output, you'll find the schem
for it and its VERY simple  :icon_wink:

BTW, It's a great sounding OD  !
Use a socket and choose your op-amp from any standard "dual" ic
4558/NE5532/OPA2134   etc etc .... JRC4558D was one of the original ones FWIW

I have a layout for it at http://ustomp.com

It is using the Boss Schematic and includes the buffers.

pretty much every tubescreamer layout out there includes changes for making a boss sd-1 (ggg, tonepad, ...)
