I built a multiface today. I love the sound but i'm getting a lot of radio interference. for transistors i'm using a 2n5088 in the q1 in position and a bs170 in q2. I'm using .1 uf caps for both in and out. PLEASE HELP ME OUT! the interference is especially strong with the gain turned up.

Try a .001uf cap to ground, just inside the input cap.
A lower gain Q1 will sound different.
a 2n5088 in the q1 in position and a bs170 ...very high gain...
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
