JRC 3110 / 7018 Replacement | Boss ME-5 Multi-effects

I have an old Boss ME-5 Floor Multi-Effects unit. It's a great sounding fx unit but the overdrives can be a little harsh and slightly fuzzy on the top end. Since the unit has analog overdrive and distortion, I decided to pull it apart and take a peek at the components.

One of the opamps is a 3110 JRC 7018. I'm assuming this is for the overdrive. There is also an LM301 (Same one used in old RATS? yeah!) which I'm guessing is for the distortion sounds.

Would the JRC4558 be a good replacement for the 3110 JRC 7018? I'm a huge TS-9 fan and going that route would be ideal if that is a possible replacement
