Check out this compander chip

Hi!

Anyone heard of the MC33110/MC33111 compander chips? Looking at the datasheet they apear to be a great option for guitar fx purposes. Can be used as dual expander too.

Here in Argentina is U$D 3.24 wich is pretty cheap (a NE571 is U$S 7.35 here).

That must be pretty old stock, they have been gone for years, I believe. So if you want to make more than one box, grab them while you can!

Oh that sucks! That's why I couldn't find them at mouser, digikey and future electronics I suppose
