Okay, here's my version of the EA trem. I used the improved schematic at ROG.

Mods:
- Changed Osc. caps to .47uf and tweaked resistors to get faster speed and more usable range.
- Used internal trimpot for level control and set to a gnat's hair above unity.
- Used dual LED to monitor rate in bypass mode.

Have a pic of the build but not sure how to insert it in. When I figure that out I post it.

I built that too, with the pulsating LED as well, it's really cool, I never had a tremolo before that. It keeps falling apart though, it was my second build so my skill wasn't great and it was when I was using solid (is that the name?) wire, now I use the hairy, lots of small wires together wire. Much better. Anyway, good stuff, I should do the speed mods. Which are the oscillation caps? The three .1uF ones?

KORGULL

They are three 1uF caps - no decimal point.

roknjohn

The original caps were 1uf. Agood number of folks find this to be to slow at the upper range of the speed control.

Okay hope this works. Here's the picture.

Herr Masel

Oops it is 1uf, I just didn't look at the schematic, I was going by memory. Thanks.

KORGULL

If you change those caps for faster oscillation, you can also install a half-speed switch so you can still have really slow speeds too.
