Hi, I would like to modify this pedal to be able to use it with bass, unfortunately I haven't the schematics, and I haven't the pedal here, because it belongs to a friend of mine... I've heard that changing input and output caps is enough in many cases... what values can I try? Thanks!  :)
Sorry for my english :|

this is the pitch shifter/delay right?

Ok, couple of things. First, pedals such as this quite often do not affect the bass frequencies that much. Usually it's only the modulation type pedals that suck bass tone, whereas things like chorus, reverb, delay etc are often left with very wide bandwidths. Do some comparison first to see if you really need to mod this pedal.

Secondly, given that pedal is digital, you might find that making adjustments to the analog part of the circuit effectively does nothing, because the digital circuitry is overriding any changes you make.

and yes, normally you would just fiddle with the input and output filter caps, plenty of tips can be found on doing such mods by searching this forum.

Having said all of that, I tried a PS-5 on bass the other day, and I didn't feel it sucked bass tone. IMO, it's even better than a Whammy. It worked well and did everything it was supposed to, but I just don't dig that sound on bass. Still, not up to me to stop someone making crazy sounds!!!
