I just stumbled on this website:

http://www.univox.org/schematics.html

It has several Univox pedals, and some amp schematics too.

I've never use a Univox pedal.

The Squarewave pedal looks like it'd be an easy enough build, but I bet you'd have to substitute some.

The Square Wave is okay, but nothing very special.  Some people say the UNi-Drive is a very good booster.

I was surprised to see the Univibe pedal and see that it's in a Wah type pedal.

I figured it'd be a regular old OD peda;.

I built my Unidrrive into a Wah shell, if you find the post, there's lot of info
about "mods" to addsome extra "grit`' which ended up on a "gain" pot.
To be honest, it would work better in a normal box, I dont seem to be able
to control the beast in a wah shell !!
Vol up/down is always wrong and changes too easily IMO

GREAT sounding boost/drive circuit though  :D

Just look at the Uni phase circuit - actually a Micro phase which I have, it's wrong! The triangle LFO does not come from the output of the IC.

Thanks.  I think I need to save my wah housing for a wah anyhow.  I'll get to it eventually.  Maybe anyhow.

I was wondering if their phaser was any good.

When you said the schematic was wrong, I looked at it, and can't read a lot of it anyhow.  That one looks like it got faxed over an early fax machine or something.

Not only that, you're always going to have the little soft clip internal distortion present if you use the "output" volume pot (pedal) to control it. It's very easy to control with your guitar volume control, cleans up beautifully, and is easy to dial in the way you want it. And the guitar volume is always handy! ;D

It's a very ordinary phaser with a click, although when I first hear it back in the late 70s I was amazed. I remember throwing a sicky in order to travel to an obscure part of South East London in order to buy  some 2SK30 transistors!
