When the Philips IC plant burnt down, they got ON Semi to produce the chips made by this old process. Which is why we can stil buy NE5517 etc. Good one, Philips! while the USA plants from the same era were just destroyed (not enough sales... goodbye CA3080..) THe Philips SA and NE prefixes are the same chip, the SE meets higher industrial specs. In practice, with modern manufacturing, they are the same.
