I actually built this one awhile back but never got it working till this holiday break.  I had two problems with it - one was a very sneaky incomplete trace, and the other was just a consequence of being lazy.  Since I didn't  have it boxed up when I started troubleshooting, I had grounding problems.  I did a quick fix by alligator clipping the two jack grounds together and by making a second connection from 9v- to the jack grounds.  Next I fiddled with the trimpots (four of them) to get near the voltages posted at Runoffgroove.  Finally it was sounding pretty good so I recorded a quick sample.  If anyone else has built this I'd be curious what you thought about the bass control.  The mid- and treble have a much more pronounced effect for some reason on my build.  If anybody recognizes this song, you might not know that only Joe Molland is still living from that Badfinger lineup on the Apple label.  Mike Gibbons died in August of this year.   :icon_cry: Joe has a recent album out that has some decent stuff .

That sounds good Marty. We do that one in my band but we lower it to A.

What did you use; an amp, or direct?

I think it's cool you guys do a Badfinger song in your sets!!

We also do 'No Matter What'. Our singer grew up in England, so we do a lot of that.

Wow, that little PCB is loaded up! Looks good.  Too bad I can't listen, because dang Winzip expired on me!

By the way, where'd you get that wire for the pots? It's makes everything look more organized  :icon_cool:.
