Hello!

I need to decide a way to make a true (on board) mixer for my two P-90's.  I can't seem to do it passively, so i am looking at simple (and small) mixers.

My question - which is the quietest / most transparent option here??  Other options?

P.S. I use 500k Pots

 Look up the wiring for a J bass. You can indeed do it passive!

I'm with meanderthal -- any reason you can't just use a blend pot?  If you currently have an LP setup, I think you could replace one vol with the blend.  If you have a vol and switch, it might be tricky to do it without drilling more holes in the instrument (you could stack volume and tone with a stacked pot)...
