I'm considering buying a computer interface for guitar/vocals recording and I'm looking at the Toneport by Line6. Usually I don't like this sort of digital "cheating" when it comes to guitar gear, but I thought it would work great for a late night recording sessions in an apartment.

Anyone used one of those? I'd love to hear some comments. Feel free to recommend me other computer interfaces, please keep it under 200 bucks. :)

Hmm, are this kinds of topics allowed? Not directly related to stompboxes but I think audio interfaces and stompboxes are quite similiar, it's just the output jack that differs. :)

Tried one out Jim, it actually sounded very good !
The one with the VU's gives you some Gtr/Bass/Micpre models, which
are all of a high quality.
Problem:  Latency when resording through it  !!
If you can get used to the 10-20 msec's of delay, then fine
there's no way to make it work as "zero" latency .... at the moment
