I bought a BUTTLOAD of these things, mainly just for the storage system they came with.   :icon_lol:  Seriously; it was cheaper than a new storage thingie.

Anyway, I know TZF effects are one possible application of these things.  I'm also thinking of fixed comb filters, etc.  Then there are the multitap analog reverb applications.

Anybody played with these things?  Mr. Hammer?  Anybody?

I still haven't even experimented yet, so I'm not sure how much db drop and frequency loss/phase shift, etc., they have.

I've got about 30-40 of each of the following (multiple parts sharing the same prefix but different post-fixed numbers use parentheses around the different part numbers)...

1519(50, 100G, 600E), DDL-(60, 100), DDU-4-(5050, 5300), DDU66-(50, 100), DL(15CC151, 1805, 2328, 2369, 6138, 6358), DTZM1-15, 60, 125), EP121217, NP2896, PE(9825, 20617, 20651, 21172, 23082), PECLDL-3-1, TTLDM-(30, 350), TZB66-10, TZB18-10, TZM2-50, TZA2-10

I'm going to experiment with simple stuff at first.  I'm thinking comb filters and bathtub-style reverbs are where I'll head first...

are those the ones from TV-sets?

The delays on those things are usually miniscule...

ahh - not those video-delaylines, but this kind:

very short, too, though I googled for (TZB66...)

Just off the top of my head, aren't such static deay lines on the order of <100 nanosec, for the purposes of synchronizing HF pulses and timing?

Cool; yes.   :D  These are apparently not so useful in audio applications.  I'll run a couple of the longest ones in series, buffered, and mix with the straight signal just to confirm, but I doubt anything other than a minute, inaudible phase shift will come of it.  Thanks for your responses!  These will probably go on eBay for cheap.
