I'm trying to build the Paia headphone buffer amp shown here http://paia.com/hdasch.pdf.

As can be seen on the schematic, the power requirement calls for 12vdc, and the opamps are 5532's... How many amps should this unit be fed? I was also thinking of expanding the rather modular schematic to accomodate 8 phones instead of 6. Can someone steer me to some info on how to figure the power and current requirements?

Thanks.
Little time to do it right. Always time to do it over.

the best way would be to breadboard one of the modules and measure it in action.

Otherwise, it's pretty easy in most cases to overengineer the supply without making it too big or unweildy - then you don't have to worry about it too much!
