Someone care to tell the rest of us non-french speakers just what happened the last few posts here?

Sure thing.

Guitare-tech didn't really get the hang of our local customs, and didn't understand that while folks don't have a problem with a posting with actual content that includes a link to one's commercial/business site as part of the signature at the bottom, a posting that consists of ONLY a link to a business site comes across as kind of heavy-handed advertising, and is somewhat frowned upon.

I'm not sure I was quite that eloquent in French, but that was the gist.  M. Guitare-tech is fine with that and will stick his commercial web-site link in the links section at the top in future.

Problem solved.  No one offended.

He tried the same on a french DIY forum and his post has been locked then removed.

The SansAmp GT-2 PCB layout is a "perfect" clone of Tonepad's layout (done by Francisco Peña).  Components at the very same locations and orientation, same for jumpers, mounting holes, wire connections, etc.

Couldn't find a difference in the layout routing.  Just compare both layouts with the components on top and you'll see what I mean.

Yes, it might be done using a different PCB CAD SW, but it's still the same layout.  :icon_evil:
