Seems like it'd work, but I dont remember seeing type about it.
I have the Marshall Sim, uses a -9v/Gnd/+9v Power supply.
could a 20v power supply be used to bias the opamps, using a divider to produce a 'middle rail'...so as to use a 0v/10v/20v [to be connected respectively] replacing the -9/Gnd/+9 setup?
0v would go where -9v went
10v would be the 'middle' rail [where a +&- from each of the two batteries went].
20v would go where +9v went.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

That should work fine. I have done similar things with no problems.

I quite often use an opamp buffer to provide a very stable Vb rather than a voltage divider. If you have an opamp stage left over you might think about doing this.

with that many opamp's, you might want something sturdier then a regular voltagedivider..may I instead sugest a Low-Z solution like "R.G's biastrick" ( with LM386 ) or a spare opamp, the way I do it in the LA-light..otherwise it might tilt when you start hooking up more and more opamps...

...or just build a dual supply. It's not beyond your capabilities.
