where do you think i should put it? since i should use a recovery stage maybe if i add it to the output it would only affect the output level which wouldnt be a big deal since the pedal already has a HUGE amount of volume, but the im thinking i could do it Plexi style right where the Gain is but if i do this i might lose some of the distortion on the circuit which i really dont wnat to happen, what would you guys recommend??

The tone stack could be at the end of the circuit right before the volume and it would change the EQ of the Already Distorted sound but if i leave right after the first stage it might  change the EQ of the boosted signal, which one would be more interactive??

thanks!

The BSIAB2 already has an extra gain stage to compensate for the loss from the current tone control. It should probably be OK to replace the current BMP tone control with a TMB tone stack.

Why not replace the existing tone control ?
It's post drive anyway, if needed, a simple vol recovery with a 5088 could be
tacked on before output vol pot with no problems ...
