Help Identifying Components on old Schem.

The schem is V similar to the Polyphase, but it isnt the same. The PS is different and pin 6 of last 4558 in top section goes to a B voltage.

I could have sworn a Deluxe Phaser circuit was posted here earlier with Polyphase printed on the bottom!!!

All my deluxe Phaser circuits from different sources are dated 20 July 1978 and none have pin 6 of last 4558 going to a B voltage - sounds like somebody has messed about with the circuit somewhere along the line.

In that article Howard davis talks about the polyphase as if it were the polychorus/echoflanger. For the EH man he makes some ridiculous mistakes.....

"I designed the current Polyphase reissue, but NOT the original, which also went by the names Polyflanger and Echoflanger (all the same product). I believe this is one of the most flexible multi-effect pedals around; you must play through it for quite awhile in all of its modes, trying various control settings, to apprecaite all that can be done with it."


There is no polyphase reissue!!!???

I sent him an email about the echoflanger shortly before reading your posts so I will wait a while before asking him about the Clone Theory, see how helpful he is. The only mod I want to do to the clone theory is a wet stereo out, which shouldnt be too hard, given that I have the small clone mod from tonepad to work from. A blinking LED and maybe a rotary switch to play with the feedback resistors.  

I am V curious to find out what "vibraflange" sounds like.

Ok I have found a Vactrol with specs V close to the CLM8200/2, I would like some other opinions though, incase i have overlooked something. It is the VTL5C3/2 Datasheet can be found here

Now, is this a good substitute for the  CLM8200/2?

I plan on leaving the thermistor out of the circuit, what value resistor should I replace it with?

I also cant identify the single opamp to the right of the 4013 flip flop, any ideas? pin7 to V+....
