First of all, thanks geertjacobs for answering in the other thread. Second, I searched but couldn't find anything useful for this. It is on the breadboard, so I left out the footswitch and LED+resistor. I get no sound from the effect at all. I measured the voltages, here they are (in parenthesis are the target voltages. I got them from an old post I found, I hope they are right).
All transistors are 2n5457
Battery is 8.6

Q1:
G: 0 (0V)
S: 0.63 (0.95V)
D: 5.1 (4.5V)

Q2:
G: 2.66 (3.8V)
S: 5.09 (4.5V)
D: 7.98 (8.0V)

Q3:
G: 0 (0.3V)
S: 0.29 (0.75V)
D: 4.26 (4.3V)

Q4:
G: 2.65 (3.8V)
S: 4.25 (4.3V)
D: 7.92 (8.0V)

Q5:
G: 1.39 (0.5V)
S: 0.79 (0.9V)
D: 0.68 (3.4V)

The only place that looks like a problem is Q5, but maybe the gate on Q4 is a little low as well? These two were supposed to be J201s in the scematic but I couldn't find any, I don't know if that's what's behind the problem.

The schematic is here: http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/bsiab_2_sc.gif  Thank yous people.

No ideas as to what might be wrong with Q5?

No it's not the pinout I checked it. When I test the wires at the end of legs 1 and 3 of the tone pot I get no reading. Obviously, my problem is cold solder joints, my arch-nemesis. I rewired the pots, but still it won't give. I am inexperienced with soldering, and I suck at it. This is so depressing, I'm not touching this pedal again today.
