hey ok i created an indepth page on my website *http://distouk.tripod.com* for my tube screamer! please check it out.


i loaded pictures of the pedal and some sound clips!


can anyone compare the sound clips to an original tubescreamer!!!

Hey disto i have exactly the same electronics kit as you. I started on that thing when i was 10 and its what got me intro the whole elctronics thing. i have a ball playin around with mine. Hope you enjoy it as much as i do

is it the "electronics fair - 200 electronic projects in one" somthing like that... thats weird i think i must have got mine about that age too.

yeah its interesting i have never worked my way all the way throught the book though!! i think its missing a load of bits of wire now!

yeah mines the electronics fair 200 in 1 aswell.

the sites well layed out to its not hard to navigate and the pictures are awesome

  For a circuit with 'one of a kind, mucho Mojo' as the TS has accrued, 'vintage' mojo' 'Opamp Mojo"...I find it's kind of amazing that the circuit has shown as 'repeatable' results as any 3 knob OD/Fuzz I've built more than 3 of...very nice circuit, wired right, I can count on it to sound 'like' a Tubescreamer, if not an 'actual' Tubescreamer'. A great sounding circuit.

yeah anyone with some original sound clips would be great i was also wondering how it compareed to the original tubescreamer! i did find a great site with loads of effects clips on it but i cant remember the address...
