Anyone have a good/cheap source?  Or a nice varity pack they'd recommend?  I've only bought resistors from small bear before...  do you use mouser?

You can try Olaf Nobis from www.banzaieffects.com (Europe)... I use to buy them there. hope this helps.

Mouser is a good source if you buy them in bulk.  But, for smaller orders, you can get metal film resistors from Futurlec for $0.02 each (10 for $.20).  You really need to check your order for accuracy, though.  They have shipped the wrong parts on my last three orders.  On the bright side, they let you keep the parts sent in error.  If you use Futurlec, be prepared to wait for your order.  Mouser will be at your door two days after you place the order.

The regular place I get them is Mouser, but The Electronic Goldmine has some nice 1/8W assortment kits right now. They're not dirt cheap, but they come in a plasic storage box and are really compact in size. http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/products.asp?dept=1128

Thanks for the tip Korgull... I assume 1/8w resistors are ok for pedals?  I've always used 1/4w...

I know they're in the UK, but I ordered their metal film kit and with shipping, it was still pretty reasonable.
