Ross Clone ?Short w/ no sound from board

I finished the geofx Ross clone project the other day and like a newbie idiot i let the board come in contact with the metal box,  the LEDs on all my pedals flickered and went out (they are daisy chained in a one spot).  Thankfully, my other pedals still work fine, however I have no sound out of the Ross clone upon engaging the 3PDT switch.  Also, before I placed everything in the box, it worked!  My question is, do you think its a blown component problem?  And if so, diodes, transistors, ic?  Can you blow those?  How do I check?
