Hi, neewbie here, nice site you guys have...Anyway here is my question...I use a DOD FET pre pedal in the effects loop of my amp for a lead boost.  Works great for me.  My band mate with a Soldano SLO-100 can't do this because of the +4db level of the loop on the SLO.  My FET pre and a Microamp actually lower the level of the signal.  I was wondering if there are any mods I could do to the Microamp to have it compatible with the Soldano.  I'm also not opposed to building something from scratch...Thanks in advanced.

You probably need more than 9V to get enough headroom for the +4dBm level, so you would need to use 2 batteries for 18V or +/-9V (or some other power supply that gives enough voltage.

I think there's a simple opamp booster in the layout gallery. It could probably run on 18V with few or no modifications.
