Hello all,

I'm working on a Lovetone Wobulator clone at the moment which is documented in another thread. It requires the use of an obsolete E113 jfet which I found was a N-Channel Jfet of the following spec. As I haven't had much experience with this I was wondering if anyone can suggest a replacement part.

Part Number = E113A
Manufacturer Name = Various
Description = N-Channel JFET
V(BR)GSS (V) = 40
I(D) Abs. Drain Current (A) = 400m
Absolute Max. Power Diss. (W) = 350m
I(GSS) Max. (A) = 200p
V(GS)off Max. (V) = 5.0
I(DSS) Min. (A) = 8.0m
Status = Discontinued
Package = TO-106var
Military = N

Thanks in advance for any help

:D

Specs look very close on these, perhaps as it's N channel, MPF102 and 2N5457
would work also, depends where it's used ?

Great thanks for the rapid response. Think its gonna be a case of building it and then playing around with a few fets to see which ones work but that should hopefully solve the problem.

Thanks again for the help!

The DOD switching article I have posted at my site notes that DOD uses it for its low "pinch-off voltage" as well as because its on-resistance is pretty small (<100R I think).
