I opened up a original ram's head the other week and it had 2n5089's in it. Might have been a very early model perhaps?

Typical ElectroHarmonix.  You probably will not find two originals with all the same parts inside.

Skreddy, you have made a little mistake in the USA Reissue tone stack: the value of C1 is 3.9n, and not 3.8n
