This is the '66 Supro Bass Amp, a classic and often used by session guitarists due to
the fantastic tone when driven hard ... in particular from a "Range Master" ... !
I made a couple of guesses at one or two values and I thank Markusw for help with
a cleanser schematic   :icon_wink:

Sounds great with a Bass, clean and clear with just a touch of "OD" when flat out.
The unusual tone control looked "wrong" to me, but actually works very well.
Rolled off, there's a nice thick low end, which is a very warm sound, in the middle
you get mids and highs back, for super clean tones and when cranked, there's some
more top end and a little more break up  !!  FAB :D
Use it with Guitar and it's a different beast, mostly clean ( I left it that way on purpose )
with just a little crunch when cranked and with the tone rolled high ..... then ....

Plug into a "Rangemaster" or just a booster and hit it hard .... SOUNDS AWESOME !!

I have no time today to make sound samples, but will do a few tomorrow with Bass/Guitar
to show you what I mean .... I'M VERY EXITED ABOUT THIS ONE   :D :D

Cheers and a BIG shout to ROG and Doug Hammond,  for the inspiration  www.runoffgroove.com   :D

All that filtering on the back end doesn't make it too dark, huh?  Looks cool.

No, remember that it was a small combo with a 15inch driver :D
You could easily reduce that, but it works great "as is" and it is a Bass amp after all .
There's "Top 'a Plenty" from the tone control

You're most welcome.
As a bass player I now definitely will have to start with amp sims  ;)

Thanks a lot for this cool project!!

Marty-these new sims look very interesting! I'll have to build the Classic 30-I've been a Peavey fan for years. My 1st "real" amp was a Peavey.
Anyway, a question if I may-when you're doing these sims, do you just copy the original amp schem spot-on and just sub the Jfets for tubes?
I'm sure there are adjustments to some components as you're dealing with 9v instead of 120v (220 across the pond?). Other than adjustments for voltage, what do you generally need to change?

Well first you need to make sure that the schematic is good !  I have a couple more Idea's and have got hold of
a few from a friend who's an amp repair technician.
I learned a lot from the "run off groove" sims, you are mostly just replacing tubes with Jfets or Mosfets.
Going as far as the end of the "pre amp" section, will give you the character of the amp, but they are in
no way a total "replacement' ....I wish  !
They wont alway's sound right at 4.5 volts, the supro Q2 is a bit better/louder at 6 volts ...
The "Supro" is almost part for part, though I thought that the original 4n7 input cap was suspect , the only
extra's are the roll off section at the end, trying to mimic the speaker size/type that was used.
There's more roll off on the supro as it used a 15 inch bass driver, a lot different than 10/12 inch guitar
cab speakers.
That's about it !
