Ive been busy and backed up, but I was curious to see if my findings matched any of your findings.

Firstly, the ROG' Supreaux

sounds very big when cranked, backs off nicely.  The tone control is subtle, but still useable.  Does it make me sound like jimmy page? HAH! no, but that's not why I built it.

2) Professor tweed

I dont have enough nice things to say about this pedal.  Everything on it is super interactive.  I can roll my guitar volume way down, and still get great sounds on any of the settings.  It can get a bit shrill if you leave the gain at about 50% and have the tone on full, but rolling off the tone mellows that out a lot.  I think I'm going to build another one of these, so I can run two settings.  You need to build this.  It can really crank if you dime it, which I wasn't expecting at all.

3) tone pad Pulsar

Havent tried the mod to smooth out the trem speed, and I can see why some people would hate this pedal.  The trem is very useful though.  It gets choppy, but the sound is still very mellow.  Crimson and clover territory for sure.  I didn't have a problem with ticking, I mean, you can hear it, but it isn't as pronounced as I'd read about.

4) GGG controfuzz

Noisy, but awesome.  I have the mods to get rid of the clean sound, because the fuzz is great, I just dont have a practical application for clean and fuzz mixed.  Although maybe it might work out with acoustic guitar!

5) tone pad blues breaker

I'm having a few problems with squealling with this one, only on one guitar though.  Just my jazzmaster takes a disliking to this, it gets on famously with every other guitar.  Sounds best with humbuckers I found.   just as adept at handling rhythm as lead, GET IN!  Nice alternative to tubescreamer.  Might try it with a 4558 to see how that sounds.

6) GGG super fuzz tone
Didn't have the 2n5133 so subbed in different transistors and couldnt hear a lot of difference.  Fuzz switch is a great feature, really nice to have. clean blend, well, I can't say I care too much for that (see contro fuzz)

The pedal is very gatey, could be a bias problem, but after listening to samples from the original regular fuzz tone, I have the feeling it's supposed to be like this!  The sustain control is pretty much useless unless it's on full, if you roll it back, then you get even more gating.   I will check the voltages on GGG and see if I'm close.  In the 2n5133 transistor position, I subbed in both 2n5088 and 2n3904 and 2n3906, same problems persisted.  Any advantage to the 2n5133?  The only place that's convenient to order them from is small bear, and steve is taking a well deserved break!

btw, the super fuzz tone does sound great, some might say farty, but I would probably say aggressive is a better word.

I just hope to get a little more sustain out of it, and be able to pick more gently with it, and still have it sound good.

The professor is probably in my top three pedals ever.  I can't stress how versatile it sounds.  Well, lets call it top 5, I left out the fetzer in my head!

The pulsar is fun, but not really 100% useable, call it 98% :)  But, it is a great alternative to how regular trems sound.

as for being busy, I just etched boards for rebote 2.5, phase 45 and Nelsons op amp big muff!  If anyone is interested in build reports for those, I'll post those too.
