I managed to find a supplier for the ICs I needed to make the delay from one of the Babani books and sent the cheque last Thursday mid-day. I received the chips on Saturday Morning. I also ordered some OC44s and some NPN germaniums at the same time. The OC44s are gold and have a gain between 60 and 80 on my DMM althought one is reading 140 so it is either very good or very leaky. They have a huge range of (some obsolete) semiconductors that I've not seen on other web sites.
I've not seen this supplier on here before so I'll post it;

The link has been posted before Col, but I don't think anyone has (publically) ordered from them, so it's nice to know they provide a good service.

Thanks for the feedback.

It's important not to confuse them with the USA Dalbani, different stock.

I got a batch of these gold can oc44s too, from mode components, mine were around 40-70 hfe. Still usable though.
I wonder if the higher value ones have been cherry picked...
But the 140 gain *may* not be leaky, as it just falls into the range of "normal" oc44s.?

And another thing, although they specify minimum quantities on the site, if you order via telephone, they'll send whatever amount you want.
