ok, ive been wiring some super simple circuits right through each other (for example; wire-resistor-led-wire)

and my father and i have been wondering how to incorporate circuit boards...we dont understand how to use them quite yet...how they work, i guess. i know its a TOTAL n00b question, but its just that we both need to have a good understanding, and who better than DIY!?

so if i can have a good explaination on how to use them, and how they work, and how to wire duplicates of that exact example through a single circuit board, that would be WONDERFUL...thanks!

check out the http://www.runoffgroove.com/ stuff.  He uses pad per hole boards which is what I use to.  It is a good site and he has lots of layouts.  It helped me greatly.

Read this article from GEOFX for some information on different ways to build circuits:

http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/protostyles/proto_styles.htm

Most people here seem to use perfboard, stripboard(vero), or they make their own printed circuit boards.
