Hi, I was wondering if anyone can suggest some subs for the 1N100 or 1N34 in the Orange Squeezer compressor unit as I just cant find a source for them here (new Zealand). One place has the OA91 or the IN914, although thats a Silicon diode.
Thanks, Glenn

OA91 should work fine, it's a germanium signal diode.  Doesn't really matter what diode you use so long as it's germanium.

Can a 1N4002 be used as a replacement for the 1N100 or 1N34?

You could in a pinch, but it won't work quite the same. You want the lower Vf of a Ge diode. A better substitution would be a Schottky diode like the 1N5817 which has a similar Vf.
