I've been meaning to build up a Boss SD-1 with parts I have on hand using Torchy's Vero Layout . . .

Has anyone used this layout to build the circuit?

It looks ok to me, but was wondering if anyone could verify it

Thanks!

I built the ZW-44 vero that Torchy had and it worked great.  I am not sure if the SD-1 is verified but the ZW44 is a modded SD-1

More reports about SD-1 vero ?

Torchy did a lot of very good layouts I wouldn't be afraid to build it.
Check out his work yourself, get the schem. and trace it through the layout. (I did and it looks good to me)
Many of the layouts Torchy did were for others and some did not even bother to post build reports.
So if you build it and it works, please post even if it's as simple as stating "I built it and it works"

I hate to lecture but... if you would have done a search before posting you could also have found Marty's layout which I believe Marty has built himself.  http://aronnelson.com/gallery/Martys-layouts-and-photos/OD_1update

Please don't take this the wrong way I'm not trying to be a smart ass. Maybe venting a little, but really just trying to point out a few often overlooked funtions of the forum.

Hi Richard,

Believe me. I perhaps use more the search engine than the iron solder. If you see, the last post before mine is from August last year.

Thanks for the link to the OD-1 verso, this post is about SD-1  ;) Anyway, I am looking for something to overdrive a bass, mixing the dry and the wet signals, similar to ODB-3, so if OD-1 is verified, I've no doubt to follow this way as you recommend.

cheers

:icon_redface: quite sorry, don't know what possessed me.
I did look over Torchy's layout again and it looks ok to me too, but I have not built it.
