I've been working on a Bazz Fuss based distortion built arround a BC517 Darlington. I Idea is to have a footswitchable "Damage Boost" (witch is basicly an adjustable mis-bias) but as this gated signal might require a more output to match the "Normal mode" I threw in an output stage, taken from the BMP (just as in the ROG Whisker Biscuit). For the gated channel to be precieved equally loud as the normal i used one pole of the 3PDT to switch between to gain settings on the output stage. The other two poles are used to set input cap (smaller for the "Damade Boost") and engages the mis bias, which is a 1M pot from the base of Q1 through a 33k resistor to ground (I forgot to add the 33k to the schematic below). Setting the "Damage" knob at min this channel works as a brighter lead channel and near max it's severly gated and crackly. :)

The sound is in many ways still a basic Bazz Fuss. The "Nomal" channel might be a just a little bit on the "dark side" :) - though C5 doesn's seem to do a thing. Is R7 shunting C5?

I'd love to get some feedback on this. Any comments and/or corrections?
